She is rooted into the earth as much as connected to the sky and beyond.

Her heart is light and dances with the wake of the morning sun.

Sleeps well when the day is done.

She delights in the details of life –

the weight of a blanket, the warmth of a hug, dog hair on the floor.


She knows herself intimately.

Fully present in every moment – the happy, the hurtful, and everywhere between.

She heeds God's wisdom.

She lives in love.


– Why I want to deepen my spiritual practice.



When we know why we want something, it can give us motivation to act. When we fully embody what it will be like to receive it, our nervous system – our spirit, attunes to these vibrations.


I know I want a regular meditation and yoga practice.

I just needed to remember why.
