Love is waiting.

When you read the word God, what do you picture?
A person, a place?
Maybe you're like me a few years ago who couldn't even say the word without disgust in my mouth.
For me, today, God is a personal relationship.
It's a state of being connected to everything and everyone through time and space.
Similar to how my hand is a part of me, I believe everything around us is a part of God.
It's not important if you're Christian, Muslim, Agnostic, Atheist, whatever you want to call yourself ...
what is important is your connection to the world.
Do you feel alone? bitter?
Or do you feel connected and full of love?
A relationship is a two way street. I promise that if you pour out love in all your words and actions – pour out love to the people/places/things that "deserve it" the least – you will find love in return. You might feel like the world has turned it's back on you, but it hasn't.
It's only waiting.

(I watched a candle burn for about 3 hours, meditating, before I wrote this post.)
